On Saturday June 23, 2024, a fire erupted at a Stamford towing company’s parking lot, prompting a swift response from over two dozen firefighters who managed to extinguish the blaze.
The fire crews were dispatched to the 400 block of Fairfield Avenue at approximately 10:25 a.m., following reports of several vehicles engulfed in flames near a building.
Upon arrival, fire officials discovered that the fire had spread across multiple vehicles within the parking and storage area of the local towing company.
A total of 26 firefighters worked diligently to contain and control the primary blaze. The fire was quickly brought under control.
